January 28, in the Year Two Thousand and Nine. Our 3rd day on the island of Key West.
From the depths we begin to sing. The more we sing, the more strength we feel. We have put our creative power to use and it has awakened us from this irreality. We cannot turn our back on soul and think we live well.
We continue to sing.
Part of us feels we are walking to our own death, whilst part of us feels we are rising to the surface.
We continue to sing.
The soul child be no lost girl, she be a fully grown woman.
We continue to sing.
In coming to rescue the lost and abandoned daughter, we find we have to come rescue ourselves. The Shadow Keeper, the Great Protector of pirates, sailors and abandoned little girls, releases the Soul Child, knowing it be time to surrender her to this world.
We continue to sing.
Honoring the shadow, rescuing the abandoned daughter, integrating her into the mature self; this be the key to owning our own lives.
We continue to sing.
