Captain's Blog - January 29, in the Year Two Thousand and Nine. Our 4th day on the island of Key West.
We have done what we came here for. We rescued the daughter and retrieved the treasure.
Me and me fearless crew acted on our own behalf; we saved our daughter, thereby saving ourselves. It be an act of faith and perseverance has served us well. We discovered not just one key, but many.
We faced the ghosts of our history. They have no power over us now. Like seashells we kiss them and thank them for making us strong and release them into the ocean deep.
Me hearties be packing the alchemical potions and provisions in the Pirate's Hideaway House. We thank it for the protection offered us during this transformative period.
It be time to set sail soon. We have our Waggoner, our mystical chart that maps our destiny, and Her Majesty's Black Swan, who follows her own unpredictable course. It be time to see which way the wind takes us.
Our journey has just begun.
